Drywall Hanging/Installation in Halifax

During the on-site visit we discuss what areas require drywall and mud/tape. Our technician measure the space and determine the number and size of drywall board needs to be ordered by the client.

Once we are in agreement about what the project entails, we will make a list of what needs to be completed.

All of the information and the scope of work will be transferred to the quote document detailing all of the work to be completed for the project, along with individual costing of each item, payment terms and methods.

Drywall hanging and mud/taping requires multiple visits to be arranged with client.

PLEASE NOTE: A framing inspection must be completed and insulation must be blown in before we can start.

• Our technicians arrive at the site with the project manager for introductions and all of the materials necessary for the tasks planned that particular day are delivered. Access to the house is discussed and agreed-upon.
• Once the client has the drywall board delivered our hangers will arrive and install the gyproc. Depending on the size of the project this could be anywhere from a couple of days up to a week.
• Arrangements for removing the drywall scrap are made as per our agreement.
• Mudding and taping material will be delivered during the hanging process.
• Tapers will arrive to start the crack filling process and will cover all of the nail holes and bond the seams with tape.
• Two coats of mud are applied. Once this dries, the tapers sand all the areas to a smooth finish ready for paint.

Upon completion of the job, the project manager and the homeowner inspect the work done and determine if any touch-ups are required. If needed, touch-ups are completed at that time. The satisfied customer then signs off on the project.

After the customer signs off on the completed project, payment arrangements are made as per the terms and conditions outlined in the quote.
